This is your chance to have your say about how the club is run.
If you have any points you would like to be added to the agenda then please email the club secretary (email@example.com) before the 30th November 2014.
Well done to Sally Smith and Rob Kennison both 11th in their races at the Rapha Supacross held at Ally Pally on 25th October.

As we have a few new members joining us we thought it would be a good opportunity to go over our code of conduct to ensure the smooth running of the club runs. With that in mind, if members could consider the points below it would be much appreciated
We are not the biggest club in the region but we are committed to giving our members the best value we can for their fee, so to those who wonder what you get for membership, we have listed a few below:
Last committee meeting of 2014 yesterday and all 2014 rider grants issued, that’s £750 given back to our racers. Thanks for representing the MVC. Riders benefitted from receiving £10 back per road race and £4 back per open time trial completed. Grants ranged between £30 and £140 with some riders taking part in some 25 events! What a season, thanks to everyone for putting the club colours back on the map. We are hoping to run a similar scheme in 2015, perhaps considering upfront support so members can benefit before they race. What do you think?
Don’t worry if you are not a rider, we have also tried to reward out social and non-racing members by offering £10 off a club dinner ticket if you have helped with a MVC event this year. The dinner is on 6th December and tickets are £28.
After some excellent club sessions at Lee Valley Velodrome it is fair to say a few of us have been bitten by the track bug so when I mentioned the SE Regional track champs I was excited when Steve Smith, Dom Campbell and Tom Kennison were keen to join me for the day.
Congratulations to Dom Campbell who took a convincing win at the SERRL today (21 September). After breaking away with two others Dom finished the cat 3/4 race in the top spot and made 1.40min on the chasing peloton. What a star.
32 riders made up from clubs across Kent enjoyed a morning of track cycling at the Lee Valley Olympic Velodrome on Saturday, 20 September. The session was organised by Tom Kennison of the Medway Velo Club but welcomed a good contingent from PMR@Toachim House, 34 Nomads, San Fairy Ann, Velo Refined Aerosmiths, Thornton RC and London Dynamo.
September, time for the annual pilgrimage to the Ronde Picarde, a sportive in northern France. Having been rash enough to book some hotel rooms back in February, I found myself canvassing interest and trying to bring together the rest of the arrangements too. We ended up with a group of 10: me, Mick, Harv, Nigel, Geoff, Mark B, Dave G, Kevin and special guests Paul Hicks and Phil Callow. This was the perfect number because we couldn’t have easily fitted any more people or bikes into the cars or Mark’s van. And no one had to share a double bed; although I think one of our number was a bit disappointed about that…
