Ladies urged to get on their bikes

Medway Velo Club not only have annual championship prizes for competitive female cyclists but also are keen to ensure that all ladies have the opportunity to grow in their cycling confidence. Small steady paced rides take place weekly, and these are aimed at newer members who are anxious about cycling in groups and on the road. All rides include a tea stop for a friendly chat. For more information contact club president Rodney Kennison on 01634 238 609 or e-mail tresurer@medwayvelo.org.uk

Thursday Night Training

This is a quick reminder that every Thursday night we run a chain-gang training session around the circuit at Iwade. Meet at the bus stop in the center of Iwade in time for 7.30pm for an hour of circuits.  If you have any questions about this then feel free to ask on a Saturday morning, or email one of the committee members.

“A COME AND TRY ME” Event has been organised by Rod Kennison on Tuesday evening 5th July starting at 19.30 hrs. on the Iwade Circuit

Entry on the line is free to all club members. Regrettably this event is only open to Medway Velo club members and riders who are thinking of joining MVC. So on this occasion there will be no private entries accepted.

We hope that club members will respond to this invitation to ride as a lot of time and effort has been put into getting this set up. Let’s see who can be the first to establish the course record.
