Andy digs deep in Masters Series.

Andy Hawes and Rob Kennison both represented the velo in round 1 of the Weekday Masters Spring races at Cyclopark.

Rob, following on from his successes at the velodrome the previous evening, found that he was suffering from cramp and was forced to withdraw midway through the race. Andy, riding his first race of the season, showed that he had trained well over the winter and finished in the top 15.

After the race Andy remarked “it was not too bad for the first race of the year, the start was fast and furious and I had to dig deep. I am happy with the result”.

The race was won by Antony Wallis.
