Dear Members,
As we have a few new members joining us we thought it would be a good opportunity to go over our code of conduct to ensure the smooth running of the club runs. With that in mind, if members could consider the points below it would be much appreciated
• Arrive for the ride on time
• On arrival form groups of similar ability
•Groups should be between 6 and 8 riders
• Ensure everyone knows where the ride is heading
• Do a head count, don’t leave people behind
• Prepare for the ride, bring spares and cash for a tea stop
• Point out pot holes and hazardsLook after riders that are flagging
• Slow down to walking speed for horsesRide considerately, if you leave the ride tell someone
• Obey the highway code, don’t jump red lights
• Remember this is a members ride, if non-members are regularly attending, politely ask them to pay their subs or leave the ride. Regular non-members taking part results in the ride being uninsured and you may be personally liable if an incident occurs and not protected by the CTC insurance
