The weekend kicked off with the Kent Cycling Association 10-mile Time trial held at Fowlmead Country Park in Deal. Conditions were difficult with strong winds and rain whilst the riders were on course. The event, which was also a club championship, had 9 members taking part.

First home for the club was Rob Kennison, whose time of 23.15 was good enough to be crowned club champion, take 5th overall in the competition and 2nd veteran rider. Phil Booth put in an impressive performance to claim the 2nd velo spot in 25.07 with Matt Fearn 3rd in 25.20.
