The club is setting a hill climb challenge in honour of Club President Rodney Kennison who in 1972 won and set a record for the KCA Hill Climb in 1.45, a record that stands to this day.
Using Strava we are challenging members to have a go at this hill climb and a prize will be awarded to the best time achieved by the 30 April 2014.
To take part all you have to do is join the MVC Strava Group and once you have done that, ride this segment
The segment is a little longer than the hill climb of old but will still no doubt prove a tough challenge to get anywhere enar the KOM.
So members, go out there, have a go – but stay safe! The challenge is taken on at your own risk.
