By joining Medway Velo Cycling Club you are agreeing to abide by the rules of Medway Velo Cycling Club and through them the governing bodies to which the club are affiliated. Serious or repeated failure to abide by these rules may result in your membership being terminated.
Club Rules
- The wearing of helmets is recommended on all club rides.
- Membership runs from January to December and is paid annually before January.
- Second Claim members are not eligible for Club Championship prizes.
- Members who have not paid membership fees are not allowed to enter Time Trials, Road Races using the club name.
- Racing licences issued to members who have not paid subs may be withheld by the club secretary until they are paid.
- When on club rides;
- members must adhere to the highway code at all times,
- members must be courteous to other road users at all time
- Dangerous or erratic riding will result in the offender being asked to leave the ride(s), and have their membership of the club terminated at the discretion of the committee.
