Thursday night racing: LVRC Dunton series

A warm evening with not too much of a breeze greeted Rich Stokoe who raced in the LVRC series at Dunton on Thursday evening which saw a good turn out with more than 50 riders taking to the start line .The race started off steady there were a few attacks in the first thirty minutes but nothing stuck until about halfway when a group of 3 slipped off the front and were never seen again.

That left the rest of the filed racing for fourth place, however the pace stayed high averaging 25 mph. With three laps to go Steve Murrell (Momentum cycles) attacked and stayed away until the last 50 metres or so before being swallowed up by the bunch. Rich was active in the bunch gallop, finishing safely inside the top twenty.

Rich and Matty are both in action this weekend at the circuit races at the Eastbourne Festival.
