Carla Button, who is still in her first season of road racing and a fourth category rider, rode her velo kit to second place in the Women’s 2/3/4 road race at the Gravesend Cyclopark.
Breaking away with a more experienced rider, Carla did the bulk of the work for the final four laps as she was concerned that the group was catching them, and had to settle for second place on the line.

Despite this Carla was extremely pleased with her performance, and she once again added to her tally of British Cycling points this season, and to maintain her strong position in the Velo’s Ladies Cup competition.
