At the annual awards dinner an award is made to the first three males and females who achieve the highest overall points in the club’s various type B ‘club’ events held between March and September.
The number of points awarded in each event depends on the number of Medway Velo riders who sign on.
If 12 MV riders sign on then the first velo rider scores 12 points, the second 11 points, and so on. If 8 MV riders sign on then the first velo rider scores 8 points, and so on.
Riders score points based on their position regardless of whether they are riding as part of a two up, or riding as a solo, and regardless of gender.
