The 2014 rider grant scheme is now closed. We are looking at running a similar scheme in 2015 so watch this space!
The club is in the fortunate position where there are sufficient funds to offer monetary assistance to riders who have represented the club at events and intend on doing so in the future.
The committee has ring-fenced £700 of club funds which they would like to award to members who successfully submit an application. The amount granted to the rider will be dependant on number of events completed, intention to continue representing the club, efforts to publicise the club and personal goals achieved.
The events do not necessarily have to be competitive, riders who have completed sportives and other challenges are invited to apply. Applications are also welcomed from members who have taken part in road racing, time trials and mountain bike racing. The committee is keen to reward riders who have taken the time to get out in club kit and do something a little bit different.
Results are not a factor, but achieving personal goals will be something the committee is keen to hear about.
This scheme will replace the current cash back incentive.
