Steven Smith, Medway Velo’s time trial trojan, showed that an evening of racing on the track had done nothing to dampen his form by recording a new personal best time in his final time trial of the season: the VTTA 25 held on the Hamstreet course.
Steve provisionally took fourth place in a time of 55:57, a new PB by over 45 seconds.
After the race Steve commented “it was a slog fest out to the turn and I got held up at a roundabout, but it was then rapido all the way back. I’m very happy with that time, even though I missed third place”.
Steve has recorded new PB’s at 10 and 25 miles this season, and we look forward to following him in 2017.
