Rich and Matty Stokoe once again raced at North Weald in the TLI summer series. Matty had another strong ride on a very windy evening finishing well with another good average speed of 17.9 mph . Another night of following wheels after hanging with the B group for over a lap . He’s getting a lot of congratulations on finishing each week and new supporters cheering him on every week . The race this week was well attended with about 50 starters spilt into 2 groups with First and second category riders off first . Then rest of group of about a minute later . Rich managed to stick the bunch for the whole race . The pace did increase quite a bit for last 4 laps when his group was caught by the A race but Rich hung in to finish in the bunch averaging 24.3 mph. This was my Rich’s effort at NorthWeald to date and afterwards he remarked he “So happy with progress”.
